The now Google-owned Fitbit continues its typical business despite being purchased by the Mountain View-based search giant, so it’s now getting ready to launch another wearable device as soon as this point.

German site WinFuture is reporting that Fitbit Ace 3, a device that’s primarily aimed at kids, would go live in approximately 10 days, obviously coming with a set of features that are specifically tailored for this category of users.

The new Ace 3 will come with a 1.47-inch OLED display that supports touch input and sports a 240x240 pixel resolution. This isn’t supposed to be a smartwatch, so it doesn’t look like one, but Fitbit wants to make the new Ace as appropriate for kids as possible, so it’s planning two pretty cool color combinations, namely black and red and blue and green.

It’ll lack heart monitoring

Needless to say, Fitbit wants its new activity tracker to impress in terms of battery life because let’s be honest about it, convincing a kid to recharge the device on a daily basis isn’t as easy to do as it sounds. So the Fitbit Ace 3 will offer as much as 192 hours of battery life per charge, with the aforementioned source claiming it’d take approximately 2 hours to go from 0 to 100 percent.

As far as the bundled sensors are concerned, the Fitbit Ace 3 would come with the typical army of features, though it’ll lack a heart tracker.

It’ll still be able to monitor the sleep and track steps and other activities, with the data to be then synced to an Android device or an iPhone using the Fitbit companion app.

At the end of the day, the Fitbit Ace 3 is expected to be rather affordable, with the price tag likely to be around $100 in the United States.
