Now that the Galaxy S10 is official, Samsung’s next big release is the Note 10, which is expected to happen in the summer of this year.

And although the S10 frenzy isn’t over yet, a report that’s making the rounds like now provides us with an early glimpse into the feature lineup of the upcoming Note upgrade.

SamMobile writes that the Galaxy Note 10 will feature a quad-camera system, possibly similar to the one on the Galaxy S10 G. Note models typically come with a specs sheets similar to the ones of Galaxy S versions released during the same year, but if this report is accurate, Samsung wants its next flagship to borrow the camera configuration of the top S10.

However, I believe there’s also a change that Samsung rolls out a 5G version of the Note 10 as well, so while a quad-camera system would indeed be offered, it may only be available on this particular model.

The other Note 10 variants could thus come with a triple-camera setup like the one on the Galaxy S10+.

Note 10 coming in the summer

The cited source notes that the Note 10 has model number SM-N975F, which itself is an indication that a 5G model could be on its way. Note 10 model numbers typically end in a zero, so the N975F code could be evidence that an upgraded version is also being developed, possibly with 5G.

Needless to say, the Note 10 will come with an Infinity O display as well, which means that the front-facing camera system will be embedded into the glass with the already popular camera cutout. The fingerprint sensor will most likely be placed under the screen too.

Most of these changes pretty much make sense given the previous models and the similarities between Note and Galaxy S flagships, but I recommend a healthy dose of skepticism when it comes to these rumors, especially because we’re more than half a year away from the release of the next Note.
