Samsung is projected to take the wraps off the new Galaxy S21 as soon as the next month, and a new photo published today by leaker Evan Blass provides us with an early glance at the new device.

The one you see here is the Galaxy S21 5G, and as you can easily see with a quick look, the new model wouldn’t be visually distinguishable from its predecessor when viewed from the front.

Blass has also confirmed that the new lineup, which will include three models, namely the S21, S21 Plus, and S21 Ultra, will be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 888 5G processor in the United States, while in international markets, these devices will ship with Samsung’s own Exynos.

The standard S21 will come with a 6.2-inch display and will be available in violet, gray, white, and pink, according to today’s leak. The Plus version will be larger, being equipped with a 6.7-inch display, and this time the color lineup will include violet, silver, and black.

The S21 Ultra will pack a 6.8-inch display and will hit the shelves in silver and black.

S Pen support

By default, the Galaxy S21 will come with 256GB of storage, though by the looks of things, some markets will also receive a 512GB version.

The Ultra, which will obviously be the top-of-the-range model, will come with a 5,000 mAh battery, but the biggest exclusive feature is the support for the S Pen. It’s believed Samsung plans to discontinue the Note series, and bringing stylus support to the Galaxy S series is the first step in this regard.

For now, it’s not known if the S21 Ultra would feature a dedicated slot to carry the S Pen, but Blass says more changes are happening on the back, with additional leaks to surface by the time Samsung takes the wraps off the new model.
