Intel has released the very first drivers for Windows 10 November 2019 Update, the next Windows 10 feature update that is projected to roll out for production devices in just a few weeks.

Intel drivers version 26.20.100.7323 are the launch drivers for Windows 10 version 1909 RTM, as the official release notes indicate (via TechDows), and also include support for YUV 420 on Display Port for 10th Gen Intel Core processors with Iris Plus graphics.

The drivers support the latest Windows 10 versions, beginning with Fall Creators Update (version 1709) and newer. May 2019 Update and November 2019 Update are fully supported and the driver update is recommended as soon as possible.

Fixes and known issues

There are several issued fixed in this release, and the most notable concerns dedicated aps like 3DMark and Ultra-HD Blu-Ray PowerDVD.

“Intermittent crash or hang may be observed when resizing Ultra-HD Blu-Ray PowerDVD playback on an external monitor from full-screen mode to windowed mode,” Intel explains in the release notes (embedded in full in the box after the jump). “Screen may blink during the loading of 3DMark Time Spy benchmark,” the second key fix indicates.

On the other hand, it’s worth noting that there are several known issues in these new drivers, and Intel claims that Windows 10 May 2019 Update users might be among those affected.

For example, on Windows 10 version 1903 some 3DMark benchmark tests could fail to complete on devices where cumulative update KB4515384 was installed. To check if this update is installed on the device, click the Start menu and type winver. If the OS build is 18362.329, then the update is running on the computer.

Windows 10 November 2019 Update is expected to launch on November 12, according to a recent leak, as Microsoft has already picked the final build to be shipped to production devices.
