Walmart will start selling the device at lower price

Apple announced the iPhone 11 generation earlier this week, and while pre-orders will kick off on Friday, many wonder if the device is indeed worth the money given that the top-of-the-range model reaches no less than $1,449.

Obviously, it’s way too early to even think of any price cuts, as this is something that Apple doesn’t typically do until it rolls out a new iPhone generation.

But fortunately, Apple’s partners come to the rescue with their very own discounts, so you can actually buy any model in the iPhone 11 lineup with a generous price cut on day 1.

It’s all possible thanks to Walmart, as the retailer announced that each new iPhone would come with a $50 discount beginning this Friday when pre-orders officially kick off. The price cuts will be available both in retail stores and online at Walmart.com, and customers have to option to either choose in-store pickup and get the iPhone on their own or have the device shipped to their door.

Pre-order program kicking off tomorrow

In other words, this is how much the new iPhone models are going to cost at Walmart on day 1:

iPhone 11 – from $649 iPhone 11 Pro – from $949 iPhone 11 Pro Max – from $1049

According to Walmart, the pre-order program in its store will begin on September 13 at 5 AM PT (8 AM ET).

Apple no longer provides information on iPhone sales, so we won’t know for sure how many units the company sold in the first weekend, but a closer look at this performance will be available when the earnings report for the current quarter is released.

In the meantime, you might want to have a look at the iPhone 8 as well, as this model has reached its lowest price ever and it could really be worth a chance if you’re not interested in the best of the best.
