Unsurprisingly, EA's FIFA 20 amassed an impressive number of players three weeks after release. The publisher announced the game recently hit 10 million players on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. To celebrate the milestone, EA will offer FIFA 20 players Volta Coins and a Squad Building Challenge.

It's enough to enter Volta Football in FIFA 20 between October 10 and October 17, and you'll be granted 8,000 Volta Coins, which can be used to equip your Avatar with some of the latest gear from Volta Drop 1.

Moreover, if you log in to FIFA 20 Ultimate Team, you'll find that for a limited time there's a new Volta Football-themed Squad Building Challenge available. Keep in mind that if you've already started playing Volta Football, you Volta Coins will be granted automatically next time you enter the mode before October 17.

Along with the freebies mentioned above, EA revealed some interesting numbers related to FIFA 20. For example, more than 450 million matches have been played since the launch of the game, and 1.2 billion goals have been scored.

Players have created 5 million Avatars, and the most played locations are as follows: Berlin, Rome, Lagos, London, Cape Town, and Tokyo.

We don't know how the previous FIFA games performed, but EA seems to be proud of these achievements, although there's no mention of record-breaking numbers.

Despite EA's announcement, critics and players alike didn't seem impressed by the game. FIFA 20 scored lower than the previous title in the series on Metacritic, but that probably won't influence EA's revenue, which is mostly based on gains from FIFA Ultimate Team.
