14 DAY TRIAL // Ubisoft hasn’t yet launched Far Cry 6, but it’s already advertising the content players will be able to play after the game’s release. Of course, this post launch content won’t be available for free, but if you were considering the Season Pass, Ubisoft is here to help you decide.
In a statement over the weekend, Ubisoft revealed that the Far Cry 6 Season Pass will include three DLC episodes where players will delve into the minds of legendary Far Cry villains. With the Season Pass, players will take control of the series’ most notorious villains: Vaas Montenegro, Pagan Min and Joseph Seed – all played by the original cast.
Starting with nothing more than a pistol to defend themselves, players will need to find new weapons and unlock power-ups to become stronger and progress deeper into the depths of the villains’ psyches.
Now, the Far Cry 6 Season Pass is included with the Far Cry 6 Gold, Ultimate and Collector Editions, but it can also be purchased separately in case you’re having second thoughts, or you simply can’t afford to buy any of the Far Cry 6 versions mentioned.
The three DLC episodes included in the Season Pass can be played solo or co-op with a friend: Episode 1: “Vaas: Insanity” planned for release in November 2021, Episode 2: “Pagan: Control” planned for release in January 2022, and Episode 3: “Joseph: Collapse” planned for release in March 2022.
Additionally, the fight for a free Yara will continue with the addition of regular, free content, expanding on the Far Cry 6 universe after the release of the game. Playable in solo or two-player co-op, this robust mix of content will include: weekly insurgencies, 6 Special Operations, and 3 crossover missions featuring guest stars and beloved brands like Danny Trejo, Rambo and Stranger Things.
Far Cry 6 will release worldwide on October 7, on Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Google Stadia, Amazon Luna and for PC on both the Epic Games Store and the Ubisoft Store.
