14 DAY TRIAL // Bethesda has just announced the last major update of the year for its smash hit Fallout Shelter is now available for download on both Android and iOS platforms.
The so-called Christmas update brings lots of new features and improvements that are meant to get players into the holiday spirit. If everyone is going to celebrate Christmas, why don’t your Vault's Dwellers do the same?
So, the first thing that developers have added for this Christmas is four-legged companions. Yes, the update introduces pets, and now cats and dogs are coming to the Vault.
The next new addition to Fallout Shelter is slackers: “Vault-Tec has received reports of some Dwellers not pulling their weight. Overseers are now authorized to permanently evict these lazy layabouts! Welcome to the Wasteland, slackers…”
Another new feature included in the update is probably one of the most important as well: new pickup lines. Bethesda noticed that many players were bored with the same pickup lines and conversations and has decided it's high time Dwellers learn new ways to impress other dwellers and the opposite sex.
The usual tweaks and optimizations have also been added
Some tweaks have also been introduced with the update, such as the option to sell all items in the inventory instead of tapping multiple times to clear out excess inventory.
Lots of other management improvements have also been added, as well as new objectives that should help hardcore players keep things running smoothly.
As with all previous updates, Fallout Shelter also gained some general improvements and optimizations since there can never be enough of these.
If you don't have the game yet, you can now download Fallout Shelter for Android for free via Google Play Store. The game should be fully compatible with all devices running Android 4.1 and up.
For iOS users, the game can be downloaded for free via App Store. It should work smoothly on all devices running iOS 8.0 or newer.
