Sony announced yesterday the prices and release date for PlayStation 5, but not many launch titles. In fact, there are just three AAA titles developed by Sony for PlayStation 5 available at the console's launch: Spider-Man: Miles Morales, Demon's Souls, and Ratchet and Clank: Rift Apart.

Although Sony didn't say when exactly Demon's Souls will launch during its PlayStation 5 Showcase event, it confirmed later on Twitter that the game will indeed launch alongside the console on November 12 in the US and November 19 in the rest of the world.

As far as the price goes, Demon's Souls will cost a whopping $70 / €70, a bit more expensive than we would have expected. Nevertheless, Demon's Souls is a niche game, and fans of the genre will do anything to get it at launch, including paying a much higher price for it and getting a brand-new console.

However, Demon's Souls looks and feels absolutely amazing from the gameplay footage shown during the PlayStation 5 event. The loading times between levels is non-existent, while the visuals are gorgeous.

Demon's Souls is a soulslike game more brutal and ruthless than the Dark Souls games. The world of Boletaria more gruesome and great-looking at the same time than ever, developer Bluepoint Games, the same studio responsible for remastering three PS3 Uncharted titles, Flower, and Gravity Rush. Also, Bluepoint Games released is behind the remake of Shadow of the Colossus, so it's no wonder that Demon's Souls looks so good.

We can't help but mention that the gameplay trailer presented at the event said at the end that Demon's Souls will also be available on the PC. Well, don't get your hopes too high, as Sony backtracked and said that Demon's Souls is a PlayStation 5 exclusive and won't come to PC. What we saw at the end of the trailer was just “human error.”
