We already know that Remedy Entertainment has new content lined up for Control, their latest AAA game, but the developer didn't announce when exactly we will be getting the first DLC. Well, after The Game Awards show happening this week, we learned that the first Expansion DLC, The Foundation, is coming on March 26, 2020.

Aside from teasing The Foundation DLC, Remedy also launched the Expeditions update, new content that's now available to all Control owners across all platforms (PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One).

If you've played through the entire Control story, Expeditions is bringing new challenges that will reward you with rare mods and powerful crafting materials unique to the mode, as well as a new outfit for Jesse.

The new update expands Jesse's story and takes players to new areas of the Threshold, each with its own unique challenges that she needs to overcome. To access Expeditions, you must have completed the main story mission “My Brother's Keeper” in Control, which will allow you to use the mysterious Jukebox locked away in a room in Central Executive.

By obtaining so-called Jukebox Tokens, you will be able to hear the song that has the power to transport Jesse into a different dimension. It's how you're going to access the new areas of the Threshold and take on the challenges thrown at you in the new update.

Control received eight nominations at The Game Awards this year, including 2019 Game of the Year, but only won the award for Best Art Direction, which is still an amazing achievement considering the other games that it competed against.

If you haven't played Control yet, you can pick it up on PC via Epic Games Store for just €40 (33% off), as well as PlayStation 4 and Xbox One from their correspondent stores.
