Samsung has started sending out teasers for an August 5 Unpacked event, and just as expected, this is the date when the company will finally take the wraps off the new Galaxy Note20.

The South Korean company doesn’t provide any kind of information as to what it plans to announce at the August 5 event, but it does call the conference “Galaxy Unpacked.”

This means Galaxy models will receive most of the love, and in addition to the Galaxy Note20, we also expect the company to announce the Galaxy Watch 3 and the Galaxy Fold 2.

Galaxy Note20

Samsung’s Galaxy Note20 is a highly-anticipated release, and the company has struggled to keep all details secret.

However, certain details have still leaked, so we expect at least two different Galaxy Note20 models, with pricing to start at $999. While at first glance this sounds like a rather expensive Galaxy smartphone, this is actually a price tag that perfectly makes sense, especially as this is the company’s flagship product.

Galaxy Note20 Ultra, on the other hand, will be the top-of-the-range configuration, and it will come with a $1,299 price tag, according to unconfirmed information. Most likely, the Note20 would come in two different configurations, one with an Exynos chip and another one with a Snapdragon 865+ processor.

The Qualcomm chip will only be offered in specific regions, such as the United States, while the Exynos version will be available in Europe and in other international markets.

An improved Samsung S Pen is also expected, though specifics are unknown at this point.

Samsung is expected to begin selling the Galaxy Note20 in late August, and the company could also offer certain promos, such as free earbuds for those who pre-order the smartphone. Full details, however, will be announced at the August 5 event.
