Codemasters has a nice surprise for fans of car racing games – a new expansion for the critically-acclaimed DiRT Rally 2.0. Dubbed Colin McRae Flat Out, the expansion will be launched on March 24 on PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One and it will be free for those who own the Deluxe Edition or any full Season Pack. If you own the standard edition, you'll have to purchase the expansion separately.

DiRT Rally 2.0 has been a wild and exciting ride, and the ‘FLAT OUT’ pack is the perfect way to conclude the journey. It’s 25 years since Colin became World Champion and the content is our tribute to the greatest rally driver of his generation,” said Ross Gowing, DiRT Rally 2.0 Game Director at Codemasters.

Colin McRae Flat Out adds new Scottish locations to the game, such as Perth and Kinross, as well as 12 routes, the Subaru Impreza S4 Rally and Subaru Legacy RS cars. Also, players will gain access to 40 new scenarios spanning McRae's iconic career. These scenarios take place in nine of the cars made popular during McRae's career, including many famous vehicles from previous Colin McRae Rally and DiRT games.

Fans of series will be given the chance to test their driving skills and take Colin’s seat with a range of challenges including time penalties, damaged equipment, and mechanical failure. There are 12 stages in varying conditions meant to test even the toughest of drivers where simply making it to the end is an achievement in itself.

Since its release in February 2019, DiRT Rally 2.0 received four seasons of content. The game promises to offer the most authentic point to point rally experience combined with the thrilling, fast-paced action of the Official FIA World Rallycross Championship – the traditional track-based race over multiple laps featuring six cars.
