After last week's brief beta on PlayStation 4, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare expands to two other platforms, PC and Xbox One. In fact, only those who placed a pre-order can play the beta today, but starting tomorrow anyone with a decent PC or an Xbox One can try out the game for free. Also, if you're playing on PlayStation 4, you'll want to update the client to access the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare starting today.

If you've already downloaded the beta on your PC, here are a few tips meant to fine-tune your gameplay experience. First off, the PC version of the game isn't locked at 30 or 60fps, so it all depends on the power of your rig.

Also, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare includes support for wide monitors and multiple displays connected to the same PC. You can connect up to 3 monitors with 16:9 aspect ratio to play Modern Warfare.

Although the game was optimized for DirectX12 and Windows 10, those who own PCs still powered by Windows 7 will be able to play as well.

The beta lets you play the 32v32 Ground War mode, but the final version of the game allows up to 100 players on the map in this mode. This specific mode will be available starting Friday, so if you don't see it today, try again tomorrow.
