Microsoft is believed to be working on a black version of the Surface Go 3, and while the company hasn’t said a single thing about this device, images published on Twitter by Aggiornamenti Lumia provide us with an early look at this model.

At first glance, the black finish is the only thing that’s changed on this new model, as otherwise, it’s the same Surface Go 3 we know.

Microsoft is also expected to introduce the LTE version of the original model, so expect a press release to announce all these goodies in just a few hours.

Surface Go 3

Just like its predecessors, the Surface Go 3 is a device that brings the top-notch build quality of Surface products into a smaller form factor available at a lower price.

Needless to say, it’s not by any means a productivity workhorse given its limited hardware, but on the other hand, it’s supposed to be used for lightweight tasks that most of us do regularly, including browsing the web, sending emails and things like that.

Surface Go 3 also supports Windows 11, and of course, the black version will come with this OS pre-loaded.

“Surface Go 3 will come at just 544 grams with 1080p cameras, best-in-class studio microphones, Dolby Audio, and a 10.5” touch display. It is the perfect device to connect, collaborate, and play from anywhere. LTE models will be available in the coming months,” Microsoft said a few months ago when it announced the new device.

“Surface Go 3 is the perfect device for your everyday tasks. Designed to light up the best of Windows 11, Surface Go 3 is 60% faster with an Intel Core i3 processor. It brings all-day battery, built-in Microsoft security, and is optimised for tablet-to-laptop versatility with digital Pen and touch.”

Most likely, the Surface Go 3 in black will initially be available only in select markets.
