Rumors about another Batman game have been running around since September when it was teased on Batman Day. However, not much was revealed about the game at that time, so we only have small pieces of a much larger puzzle.

The good news is that we won't have to wait too long for the game, which is rumored to be unveiled next month at The Game Awards. YouTube Channel SLCMOF has learned from the same source that previously leaked the canceled Damian Wayne Batman game (@GabrielGalliani) that Warner Bros. Montreal's new Batman game will be announced on December 12.

If the game will be revealed next month, it will most likely be released in 2020. Warner Bros. is quite tight-lipped about the game, so attempts at leaking information about Batman: Arkham Legacy, or whatever the name Warner Bros. will use, seems to have failed until now.

Batman: Arkham Legacy might feature some sort of online multiplayer mode, but how that will work is still unknown. It's unclear if Batman: Arkham Legacy will be a sequel or a prequel, but if Warner Bros. plans to recycle some of the assets of the canceled game, then this is likely to be a sequel.

Previous rumors claim the game will allow players to take the roles of multiple Batman-family characters, which is quite a nice change to the series. Also, the Court of Owls, the organized crime group that existed in Gotham City since colonial times, might appear in the game.

Keep in mind that everything that's been shared about the upcoming Batman game hasn't been confirmed, so take it with a grain of salt, at least until we learn more from other sources.

Warner Bros. has been releasing Batman games every two years, but the next one missed its deadline due to cancellation. Batman: Arkham Legacy is the first to be launched 3 years after the previous game in the series.
