14 DAY TRIAL // Denki and Curve Digital have just revealed what's coming for Autonauts players in the next several months. It looks like the future is bright for Autonauts, as developers plan to launch no less than six free content updates for their acclaimed colony management and robot automation game, until April 2020.
Before we tell you what to expect from Autonauts devs, it's worth noting that the first major content update is available starting today. Dubbed Autumnauts, the update adds new Bot Variants including one from Denki's Discord “Create a bot” competition winner – JohnGames. Also, new Cooking Options will be added to keep colonists happy including porridges.
Today's update brings new Apparel to decorate you, your bots and your colonists, including fetching Clown Dungaerees, as well as Gnomes to decorate your world.
In December, Autonauts will receive the so-called Xmasnauts update, which will bring new Flora and Fauna, new Buildings to construct, and new Food Options to keep settlers happy.
2020 will debut for Autonauts players with “Phase 2: The Age of Steam” update, which adds mod support, new steam engine tech, health and medicine, as well as new Shelter Options to stimulate colonists' evolution with bigger and better homes.
The February 2020 Waternauts update includes new Fish species to catch and keep, as well as Aquariums to show off your favorite fish to colonists and chums alike.
Furthermore, the Easternauts update coming in March 2020 will bring even more Flora and Fauna, along with new Buildings for construct and new Recipes to expand the culinary arsenal.
Last but not least, the April 2020 update - “Phase 3: The Age of Enlightenment” promises quite a lot of new features and improvements. For example, the update adds Education and Art, Transcendence, new Silk textile chain for higher level clothing, Oil Refinery, even more Buildings, Flora and Fauna, as well as new Apparel.
