Coming this fall for all support Apple Watch models

During the live keynote at WWDC 2019, Apple unveiled the watchOS 6 operating system for Apple Watch devices, a major release that promises to add improved fitness and health features, new watch faces, and App Store support.

watchOS 6 introduces several new health and fitness features that will most certainly make you wanna buy an Apple Watch. With the new Trends tab in the Activity app on your iPhone, you'll finally be able track your fitness progress through weeks, months, and even years, helping you understand how to improve your fitness levels and strenght to beat tomorrow.

For women, watchOS 6 introduces a new Cycle Tracking app that finally allow them to track their menstrual cycles right from their wrists or via the Health app on an iPhone powered by iOS 13. Another new app coming in watchOS 6 is the Noise app, which aims to help you live a better life by detecting and notifying you about higher decibel levels in your environment.

"watchOS 6 extends our commitment to helping users better manage their health and fitness with powerful and personal new tools."

New watch faces, App Store support, supported devices, and availability

Also new in watchOS 6 are several new watch faces, including California, Gradient, Modular Compact, Numerals, and Solar Dial, support for the App Store to download and install apps directly on your watch when you don't have your iPhone with you, enhanced Siri support, new Voice Memos app, new Calculator app, extended Apple GymKit compatibility, and more privacy features.

watchOS 6 is supported on all Apple Watch Series 1, Apple Watch Series 2, Apple Watch Series 3, and Apple Watch Series 4 devices and requires an iPhone 6s or later device running iOS 13 or later. The first beta version is out now and the final release is expected to arrive this fall, in September. Keep in mind though that not all the features in watchOS 6 are supported on all devices.
