14 DAY TRIAL // Apple accidentally leaked the sizes of the soon-to-be-unveiled Apple Watch Series 4 models via its online Apple Store, suggesting that the 2018 Apple Watch lineup will come in 40mm and 44mm sizes.
In less than five hours, Apple will hold a special event at the company's Apple Park in Cupertino, California, at the recently inaugurated Steve Jobs Theater to unveil the 2018 iPhone and Apple Watch lineups, which will be named iPhone XS, iPhone XS Max, iPhone XR, and Apple Watch Series 4.
With the online Apple Store officially down ahead of the event, it would appear that Apple accidentally leaked the sizes of the new Apple Watch lineup, as spotted by AllThingsHow. As such, we now know that the Apple Watch Series 4 will come in new 40mm and 44mm sizes that weren't available in previous models.
According to the leak, Apple might also drop the "Series" naming from the new Apple Watch lineup, so it could be called Apple Watch 4 instead of Series 4. One thing is for sure, there are new 40mm and 44mm sizes for the 2018 Apple Watch models instead of the older 38mm and 42mm sizes of all previous variants.
New Gold color option confirmed
Furthermore, the Apple Store leak, which was possible due to a sitemap link that Apple took down shortly, confirms a new Gold color option for the 2018 Apple Watch lineup, which will still be available in Silver and Space Gray variants with GPS, as well as GPS + Cellular models.
Other editions of the Apple Watch Series 4 lineup will include Apple Watch Hermes, Apple Watch Nike, and Apple Watch Sport with a bunch of bands, including Anthracite Black Sport Band, White Sport Band, Seashell Sport Loop, Black Sport Band and Loop, as well as Pink Sand Sport Band and Loop.
