14 DAY TRIAL // Apple released on Thursday an unexpected sixth beta update for its upcoming iOS 11.4 software update for supported iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch devices.
The iOS 11.4 beta 6 (15F5079a) update was released just three days after the beta 5 snapshot, whichApple seeded to registered developers and public beta testers alike earlier this week on Monday. Most probably, Apple fixed a critical bug or vulnerability that it had to release a new beta version so soon.
Unfortunately, the release notes for the iOS 11.4 beta 6 update remain untouched from the previous beta releases, so we can't tell you what exactly Apple changed in this new beta. We believe that Apple will also seed a sixth iOS 11.4 public beta update for public beta testers later today.

iOS application developers with a paid Apple Developer subscription who have the iOS 11.4 beta 5 installed on their devices dedicated to iOS app development can now install the iOS 11.4 beta 6 software update by downloading the respective build from the download page on their Apple Developer account, from where you can also install the latest iOS 11.4 beta profile. You can also now install iOS 11.4 beta 6 via OTA (Over-the-Air) updates.
Apple did not updated the rest of its upcoming operating system updates, including macOS High Sierra 10.13.5, tvOS 11.4, and watchOS 4.3.1, which remain at the beta 5 release published earlier this week. The final releases of iOS 11.4, macOS High Sierra 10.13.5, tvOS 11.4, and watchOS 4.3.1 are expected to hit the streets early next week.
iOS 11.4 appears to be mostly a bugfix and security update that addresses important vulnerabilities and annoyances in Apple's latest iOS 11 mobile operating system for supported iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch devices. It will also introduce Messages in iCloud, a feature that lets users store their Messages conversation on their iCloud accounts for easy sync across multiple devices.
