Apple released today the sixth beta of its upcoming iOS 12, macOS Mojave 10.14, tvOS 12, and watchOS 5 operating systems to registered developers through the Apple Developer portal.

Coming just one week after the beta 5 release and public beta 4 release, the iOS 12 beta 6 (16A5345f), macOS Mojave 10.14 beta 6 (18A353d), watchOS 5 beta 6 (16R5340g), and tvOS 12 beta 6 (16J5340e) updates are now live for registered developers who can install them on their devices running beta 5 or a previous version from this current development cycle.

The two-week beta release schedule is now over and from here on Apple will publish weekly beta versions until the final release next month. We expect the final iOS 12, macOS Mojave 10.14, tvOS 12, and watchOS 5 operating system releases to be publicly available on mid-September 2018 for all supported devices. Also, the public beta 5 of iOS 12, macOS Mojave 10.14, and tvOS 12 should be out this week too.

Here's what's new in iOS 12, macOS Mojave 10.14, tvOS 12, and watchOS 5 beta 6

While introducing multiple new issues, the iOS 12 beta 6 release improves support for paired Bluetooth accessories after restarting them, improves support for sending and requesting money with Apple Pay Cash, allows Siri to open apps by name when using CarPlay, improves support for Siri Shortcuts requests, as well as for Siri Suggestions Shortcuts.

macOS Mojave 10.14 beta 6 improves support for CSV files that contain columns with numerous empty values, replaces the old Grab feature from previous macOS releases with the new Screenshots feature, removes the Stationery feature from the Mail app, and also deprecates built-in integrations with social networking and social media websites, forcing the use of sharing extensions.

On the other hand, watchOS 5 beta 6 addresses a Siri Shortcuts issue that could result in a "Sorry, there was a problem with the app." error, and improves support for Swim workouts to correctly record lap count, distance, and auto-sets. tvOS 12 beta 6 makes text input more reliable when using iOS 11 based devices and fixes intermittent audio signal drops during video playback.
