Apple released today the second public beta of its forthcoming iOS 12, macOS Mojave 10.14, and tvOS 12 operating systems to public beta testers through the Apple Beta Software Program.

Coming ten days after the first public beta and only a two days after the third developer beta of iOS 12, macOS Mojave 10.14, tvOS 12, and watchOS 5, which Apple seeded to registered application developers earlier this week, the second public beta of iOS 12, macOS Mojave 10.14, and tvOS 12 is now ready for public testing.

Public beta testers running the first public beta of iOS 12, macOS Mojave 10.14, and tvOS 12 can now update their devices to the public beta 2 build, which is available, as usual, via OTA (Over-the-Air) updates. The second public beta is based on the third developer beta, so it includes the same changes and should be a lot more stable and reliable than  the previous release.

Don't install a beta software if you want stability and reliability

As much as stable and reliable you think a beta software is, just don't install it on your device if you want stability and reliability. One ugly bug is enough to ruin your experience, and the current iOS 12 beta releases suffer from a GPS issue that can't be fixed. We don't recommend installing the macOS Mojave public beta either as Safari has multiple issues.

So think again before attempting to install beta software, but if you still want to do it and help Apple fix bugs and improve their upcoming operating system releases, you can read our in-depth tutorials on how to install the iOS 12, macOS Mojave 10.14, and tvOS 12 public beta versions here, here, and here, or visit the official website to enroll in the public beta program.
