Apple seeded today the second beta version of its upcoming iOS 12.2, macOS Mojave 10.14.4, watchOS 5.2, and tvOS 12.2 software updates to registered developers via the company's Apple Developer portal.

The iOS 12.2 beta 2 (16E5191d), macOS Mojave 10.14.4 beta 2 (18E184e), watchOS 5.2 beta 2 (16T5191d), and tvOS 12.2 beta 2 (16L5191d) updates are here one and a half weeks after the first beta versions to fix more bugs and security issues in Apple's iOS, macOS, watchOS, and tvOS operating systems, such as the recently discovered FaceTime bug. The Xcode 10.2 beta 2 is also available for download today.

Registered developers running the first beta versions of iOS 12.2, macOS 10.14.4, watchOS 5.2, or tvOS 12.2 can now install the second beta builds on their devices dedicated to beta software development via OTA (Over-the-Air) updates. At the moment of writing, Apple didn't share any information about the changes included in these new betas, but we'll let you know what's new as soon as the release notes are available.

Public beta 2 of iOS 12.2, macOS 10.14.4, and tvOS 12.2 coming soon

The second public beta versions of the upcoming iOS 12.2, macOS 10.14.4, and tvOS 12.2 software updates should also be available for testing in the coming hours. Usually, it takes about 24 hours for Apple to publish the public beta updates after it released new developer betas, which are only accessible by registered developers with a paid and active Apple Developer account.

This spring, Apple will release the iOS 12.2, macOS Mojave 10.14.4, watchOS 5.2, and tvOS 12.2 updates to all users with a bunch of new features and improvements, among which we can mention the availability of the Apple News app in Canada for both English and French users, improved notifications for high and low heart rate, as well as irregular heart rhythm, and more.

Update 05/02/19: Apple released the second public beta of iOS 12.2, macOS Mojave 10.14.4, and tvOS 12.2 for public beta testers. Users are encouraged to update their devices running the first public beta as soon as possible.
