14 DAY TRIAL // Apple today released the seventh public beta of its forthcoming iOS 12, macOS Mojave 10.14, and tvOS 12 operating systems for public testing through the company’s Apple Beta Software Program.
The public beta 7 of iOS 12, macOS Mojave 10.14, and tvOS 12 come just a few hours after the iOS 12 beta 9, as well as macOS Mojave 10.14, watchOS 5, and tvOS 12 beta 8 updates that Apple released earlier today to register developers via its Apple Developer portal.
As expected, the iOS 12, macOS Mojave 10.14, and tvOS 12 public beta 7 releases are based on the iOS 12 beta 9, macOS Mojave 10.14 beta 8, and tvOS 12 beta 8 releases, which means that they contain the same improvements and bug fixes.
How to update to iOS 12, macOS Mojave 10.14 or tvOS 12 public beta 6
If you are running last week's iOS public beta 6 release on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch devices, you can now update to the iOS 12 public beta 7 by opening the Settings app, accessing the General section, and then tapping on Software Updates. Download and install the iOS 12 Public beta 7 update after it appears on the list of updates.
Mac users enrolled in the public beta program and running last week's macOS Mojave 10.14 public beta 6 release can now update to the public beta 7 update via the new Software Update panel in the Preferences app, which they can access from the dock. The new public beta version should appear in the Software Update panel, so download and install it.
Lastly, tvOS 12 users can now update their Apple TV 4th generation or Apple TV 4K devices to the tvOS 12 public beta 7 release by going to Settings > System > Software Update.
