Apple released today the third public beta of its upcoming iOS 12.2, macOS Mojave 10.14.4, and tvOS 12.2 operating system updates through the company's Apple Beta Software Portal.
The iOS 12.2, macOS Mojave 10.14.4, and tvOS 12.2 public beta 3 releases follow yesterday's third developer beta of iOS 12.2, macOS Mojave 10.14.4, watchOS 5.2, and tvOS 12.2, which Apple seeded to registered developers via the Apple Developer portal, and contain the same improvements and bug fixes.
These include a redesigned Apple TV Remote app, slightly redesigned About page in Settings > General on iOS, fully functional Group FaceTime feature, correct loading of photos shared using the "Sharing Suggestions" feature on macOS and iOS, support for Siri on the iOS simulator, and support for prepaid data plan purchases over cellular data on iOS.
Here's how to install iOS 12.2, macOS Mojave 10.14.4, and tvOS 12.2 public beta 3
If you're running the second public beta of iOS 12.2, macOS Mojave 10.14.4, and tvOS 12.2, you can now install the third public beta on your devices enrolled in the Apple Beta Software Program. To install iOS 12.2 public beta 3, go to Settings > General > Software Update and follow the on-screen instructions.
To install macOS Mojave 10.14.4 public beta 3 on your Mac computer, open the Preferences app, access the Software Updates panel, and install the update when it's listed. Lastly, Apple TV users can install the third public beta of tvOS 12.2 from Settings > System > Software Update. It is recommended to update your devices as soon as possible to the latest beta release, though we don't endorse install beta software if you're not a software developer.
