As expected, Apple released today a bunch of new beta versions for its upcoming iOS 12, macOS Mojave 10.14, and tvOS 12 operating systems to registered application developers and regular users alike.

We reported earlier on the release of the iOS 12 beta 11, macOS Mojave 10.14, and tvOS 12 beta 9 developer updates, and now it looks like public beta testers can update their devices too as Apple launched the iOS 12 public beta 9, as well as macOS Mojave 10.14 and tvOS 12 public beta 8 software updates.

Of course, the iOS 12 public beta 9 release contains the same improvements and bug fixes as iOS 12 beta 11, and macOS Mojave 10.14 and tvOS 12 public beta 8 builds are based on corresponding beta 9 releases, which means that they can be installed by everyone, no matter if you're an application developer or a regular user.

How to update to iOS 12 public beta 9, macOS Mojave 10.14 or tvOS 12 public beta 8

If you are running last week's iOS public beta 8 release on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch devices, you can now update to the iOS 12 public beta 9 release. All you have to do is open the Settings app on your device, tap on the General section, and then tap on Software Updates. You'll see the iOS 12 Public beta 9 update listed there so download and install it.

On the other hand, Mac users running last week's macOS Mojave 10.14 public beta 7 release can now update their computers to the public beta 8 release by opening the Preferences app from the Dock or the Apple menu and access the new Software Update panel. The macOS Mojave 10.14 public beta 8 should appear in the list of updates, so download and install it.

Finally, tvOS 12 users running last week's tvOS 12 public beta 7 release can now update their Apple TV 4th generation and Apple TV 4K devices to the tvOS 12 public beta 9 update by accessing Settings > System > Software Update. Newcomers who want to run Apple's latest iOS 12, macOS Mojave 10.14, or tvOS 12 public betas on their devices should check out our tutorials herehere, and here on how to install them.
