UApple released today the fifth beta version of its forthcoming iOS 12.3, macOS Mojave 10.14.5, tvOS 12.3, and watchOS 5.2.1 software updates through the Apple Developer portal.
Continuing the weekly release cycle for new beta versions, the iOS 12.3 beta 5 (16F5155a), macOS Mojave 10.14.5 beta 5 (18F131a), tvOS 12.3 beta 5 (16M5151a), and watchOS 5.2.1 beta 5 (16U5113a) are now available for installation via OTA (Over-the-Air) updates or directly from the Apple Developer portal for registered application developers.
In the beta 5 release, Apple fixed more bugs and patched critical security issues. While the beta 5 release of iOS 12.3, macOS Mojave 10.14.5, tvOS 12.3, and watchOS 5.2.1 is only available to registered developers, new public beta versions of iOS 12.3, macOS Mojave 10.14.5, and tvOS 12.3 are being baked and will be available shortly.
iOS 12.3, macOS Mojave 10.14.5, tvOS 12.3, and watchOS 5.2.1 arriving later this month
Apple will release the final versions of its iOS 12.3, macOS Mojave 10.14.5, tvOS 12.3, and watchOS 5.2.1 software updates later this month for all supported iPhone, iPad, Mac, Apple TV, and Apple Watch devices. iOS 12.3 and tvOS 12.3 will introduce an overhauled TV app with an all-new Apple TV Channels feature, and iOS 12.3 adds initial support for Apple Card and a redesigned About page in Settings > General.
All four releases will also add support for the Reiwa (令和) era of the Japanese calendar, which kicked off on May 1st, 2019. Of course, there will be more under-the-hood improvements and miscellaneous enhancements to existing apps and features to make your iOS, macOS, tvOS, and watchOS experience more enjoyable. Until then, you can test drive the latest beta releases right now.
Update: Public beta 5 of iOS 12.3, macOS Mojave 10.14.5, and tvOS 12.3 are now available too.
