Apple has recently updated its Apple Pay support document to inform iPhone, iPad, Mac, and Apple Watch users about the newly supported banks and credit unions across the United States for its digital payment service.

Apple Pay currently supports most of the major credit and debit cards from the top banks across the United States, but it looks like some of them still aren't supported, and now Apple expanded its payment service to 21 new banks and credit unions, as reported by 9to5mac.

Among the newly supported banks, we can mention Auburn State Bank, Anahuac National Bank, BankSouth, Connections Bank, Iowa-Nebraska State Bank, Lea County State Bank, McCook National Bank, LegacyTexas Bank, Oklahoma Peoples Bank, TS Bank, West Suburban Bank, and Winchester Savings Bank.

In addition, Apple Pay now works with Advancial Federal Credit Union, ASI Federal Credit Union, Burbank City Federal Credit Union, Columbine Federal Credit Union, CentralAlliance Credit Union, DCH Credit Union, Hastings Federal Credit Union, Minnesota Valley Federal Credit Union, and St. Francis X. Federal Credit Union.

Apple is yet to expand its Apple Pay payment service to more countries

While Apple is adding more and more banks and credit unions across the United States to its Apple Pay payment service, the company is yet to expand it to more countries around the globe. At the moment of writing, Apple Pay works with some banks in Canada, Denmark, Finland, France, United Kingdom, Switzerland, and Italy.

Apple Pay is also supported in Australia, China, Japan, Ireland, Spain, Sweden, Isle of Man, Guernsey, Jersey, Russia, Monaco, San Marino, Vatican City, United Arab Emirates, Hong Kong, New Zealand, Singapore, and Taiwan, and it's rumored to come to Poland and Brazil later in the year.

With Apple Pay, you can easily easily and securely make online purchases, as well as to send and receive money to and from your Apple devices using the Apple Pay Cash feature that's available in the latest iOS 11.2, macOS High Sierra 10.13, and watchOS 4.2 operating systems.
