iPhone 14 event details leak out so early

Apple is projected to take the wraps off a new iPhone generation in September, but it goes without saying the company has so far remained completely tight-lipped on everything related to this event.

And this isn’t necessarily surprising, as Apple has always treated iPhone launches with extreme attention, as it doesn’t want any tidbits to leak out.

And yet, this still happens, and this week, we’re being provided with a very early look at what could be the date when the new iPhones are projected to see daylight.

LeaksApplePro reveals via iDropNews that this year, the Apple event will take place on September 13. At this point, however, it’s too early to tell if the company will use an in-person event or will stick with a digital format, but obviously, a decision is to be made.

Apple wants to wait until the very last minute to decide what option to choose, as a canceled in-person event obviously isn’t something the company wants to be forced to deal with.

Four iPhones, one all-new model

This year’s iPhone generation will include four different models, though the big change will be the demise of the iPhone mini form factor and the introduction of an all-new Max model.

The lineup will start with the standard 6.1-inch iPhone 14, which will be joined this year by the all-new 6.7-inch iPhone 14 Max. The Pro models will be available in the same configurations as for the iPhone 14 generation, yet there are expected to sport exclusive upgrades, including a punch-hole display to replace the notch.

Of course, it’s important to keep in mind that everything is still in a very early stage right now, so even the event date could change if Apple has another plan in mind. More information on the iPhone 14 launch event should make the headlines in the summer.
