14 DAY TRIAL // Apple could start refreshing its product lineup with new models as soon as the next month, according to a new report, though for the time being, it’s not exactly known what device the company intends to unveil so soon.
A report from Digitimes, which has a mixed record on Apple information, claims that the Cupertino-based tech giant will roll out substantial upgrades to its phones, tablets, and laptops this year, and one such unveiling is projected to take place in March.
Details are missing for the time being, but according to the article, Apple suppliers are eager to see the new product launches happening because they’re expected to benefit a substantial increase in their revenues.
“Among them, SPT, which boasts pearl bright nickel processing technology, is ready to enjoy sizeable orders from Apple, which will incorporate the technology to process adapters for its new-generation iPhone, iPad and MacBook devices, slated for debut starting in March 2018,” the report reads.
New-generation iPhone SE maybe?
It’s not too difficult to guess what product Apple could take the wraps off in March. Judging from the previous spring product unveilings, the iPhone SE, Apple Watch upgrades, and maybe iPad refreshes are the most likely to be part of a new product launch.
In 2017, Apple used a March press event to introduce the (RED) iPhone 7, a new iPad model, and iPhone SE upgrades, while the previous year, the company debuted the iPhone SE.
Rumors that have been swirling around the web lately claimed Apple was giving the final touches to the second-generation iPhone SE, which could come with a glass body and features like wireless charging. Such features, however, have been denied in other reports, though it’s believed that a hardware refresh is very likely for the 4-inch iPhone SE.
On the other hand, Apple is working on a major overhaul of the iPhone lineup for the fall, and the new generation should include three models, including a Plus-sized version of the iPhone X.
