14 DAY TRIAL // While we're waiting for Apple to announce the new iPhone models in September, analysts already predict what the Cupertino, California based company might have in store for next year's iPhone models.
According to Yuanta Securities analyst Jeff Pu, who was cited in the Taipei Times (via MacRumors), Apple could launch one of the 2019 iPhone models with a triple-lens rear camera system. Most probably, it will be a variant of the iPhone X, such as iPhone X Plus, if Apple doesn't reveal it this fall.
The analyst expects Apple to unveil the triple-lens rear camera iPhone model in the second half of next year, but he gives no additional details. As such, we believe that the analyst's prediction is based on the simple fact that Android smartphone manufacturers already launched phones with a triple-lens rear camera.
Triple-lens rear camera to only be available on high-end iPhone models
As Apple used us, the triple-lens rear camera feature will only be available on the high-end iPhone models, usually the one with the Plus in their name (e.g. iPhone 9 Plus or iPhone X Plus), something that Android phone manufacturers also do, and the best example right now is the recently released Huawei P20 Pro smartphone.
Apple will always have to keep with Android smartphone manufactures, that if they don't come with something innovative and unique before them. However, until next year, Apple is believed to unveil at least three new iPhone models this fall, an updated iPhone X, the rumored iPhone X Plus, and a cheaper iPhone SE 2 model.
Our hopes for this year's iPhone models is to offer a smaller price and an updated design without the display notch that most Android smartphone manufacturers adopted for their newly unveiled devices. We hope for Apple to find a solution on a true full-screen display for its next iPhone devices.
