“One more thing” to happen on November 10 online

Apple officially announced the new Apple Watch generation at an event in September, the month that was typically used by the company to unveil the new iPhone lineups.

However, the Cupertino-based tech giant changed the approach this year, and the iPhone announcement was made as part of a second event hosted in October.

And now Apple is getting ready for a third event, this time scheduled to take place on November 10 and likely to witness more hardware announcements.

With the “one more thing” tagline, the new event will only happen online, just like the other two that Apple held this fall.

“Please join us for a special Apple event from Apple Park. Watch it online at apple.com. November 10, 2020, 10:00 a.m. PST,” Apple says in the official announcement.

New Macs

Since Apple has already announced the new Apple Watch and iPhone generations, next in line to get some love is most likely the Mac.

We’ve known for a while that new Macs are coming, and this is pretty much the confirmation that Apple is planning some big announcements in this regard.

As to what these big announcements could be all about, there’s a good chance that Apple actually takes the wraps off the first computer running on its own custom ARM silicon. In fact, the Cupertino-based firm announced that it’s moving to such an approach at WWDC, so it wouldn’t necessarily be surprising to see the first Mac going live on November 10 with an in-house chip.

New iPads could also be announced at the end, possibly in the form of an upgraded Pro model, but for now, these are all guesses with no confirmation from Apple.

Expect more information, however, to surface in the coming days before the event kicks off on November 10.
