The driver update fixes display issues caused by HBCC option

AMD has announced the availability of a new version of its Radeon Pro Graphics for Enterprise driver, namely the 19.Q4 (19.30.28) package, which fixes ReLive overlay window corruptions (seen after enabling the 10-bit feature), and more.

Specifically speaking, the current release resolves display issues caused by the HBCC option, makes sure Applied Emulation in current SLS with 4k monitors doesn’t experience any problems, and removes a bug that didn’t allow creating SLS in portrait mode with 2 different displays.

In addition to that, users that install version 19.Q4 receive support for features such as Settings Snapshot, Framelock/Genlock, Fan Control, and Workstation Xconnect with Radeon ProRender, as well as benefit from other changes as highlighted in the Release Notes below.

In terms of compatibility, besides a supported GPU, take into account that your configuration must be running a 64-bit variant of Windows 7 or 10 operating systems, or one of Microsoft’s Windows Server 2016 or Server 2019 platforms. There are four files available, one for each OS.

Therefore, remove any previous version present on your computer, save and run the appropriate package for your system, wait for all files required to be made available, and follow all instructions displayed on the screen for a complete upgrade.

With this in mind, if you consider applying this release, download AMD Radeon Pro Enterprise Graphics Driver 19.Q4, install it and perform a reboot once finished. Also, check back with us to stay “updated one minute ago.”
