AMD has announced the availability of a new version of its Radeon Software Adrenalin 2020 Edition Graphics driver, namely the 20.7.1 (20.20.01.08) package, which implements support for Disintegration and Bug Report Tools.

In addition to that, the current release fixes hitching and stuttering seen when Instant Replay is enabled (Radeon RX 5000 series), as well as performance drops encountered when Performance Metrics Overlay is open while a game is running (Radeon RX Vega and Radeon VII series).

Moreover, the developer manages to resolve various issues with DOOM Eternal, Counter-Strike: Global Offensive, League of Legends, Saints Row: The Third Remastered, DOTA 2, Deus Ex: Mankind Divided, and Final Fantasy XV, as well as several other fixes as highlighted in the Release Notes below.

However, the 20.7.1 build might still encounter issues Oculus Rift headset, Radeon RX 5000, RX 5700, Ryzen 7 3000, Ryzen 3000, and Ryzen 4000 hardware, Performance Metrics Overlay and the Performance Tuning tab, and a few other problems described below.

Regarding compatibility, there are two downloadable files suitable for both desktop and notebook configurations running under one of Microsoft’s Windows 7 and 10 OSes (only 64-bit architectures), as well as a Minimal Setup Utility targeted at the same platforms.

Therefore, remove any previous version present on your computer, save and run the appropriate package for your system, wait for all files required to be made available, and follow all instructions displayed on the screen for a complete upgrade.

With this in mind, if you consider applying this release, download AMD Radeon Adrenalin 2020 Edition Graphics Driver 20.7.1, install it and perform a reboot once finished. Also, check back with us to stay “updated one minute ago.”
