Microsoft has just announced that pre-loading games are coming to the Xbox One computer entertainment system, starting with Forza Horizon 2 and FIFA 15.

The Gamescom gaming trade show is currently underway in Cologne, Germany, with Microsoft's presentation offering us a ton of new information regarding various Xbox One-related items, such as the future introduction of pre-loading in September.

Forza Horizon 2 is an open-world racing video game taking place in Southern Europe, coming exclusively to the Xbox 360 and Xbox One on September 30, and sporting mathematically correct rainbows and other such impressive visual tricks that are meant to deliver an authentic experience.

The game will ship with over 200 faithfully modeled cars, with accurate handling and engine sounds, ranging from extreme off-roaders to supercars, as well as cult classics hailing from rally history.

Players will be able to explore southern France and northern Italy, taking part in various races and special events, set both at day and at night, with a dynamic weather system added for the first time in the Forza series.

FIFA 15 is a similarly realistic video game, not content to merely offer 3D scans of actual players and real-life clubs, but also coming with real-world stadiums and their authentic chants, at the end of September.

Players who pre-order the two games will be able to download them to their hard drives ahead of time, and them have them all ready to play on the day of their official launch.

They won't be able to play them before then, but they'll be guaranteed to skip the hassle of downloading them when everybody else is, and they'll be able to jump right into the action as soon as possible.
