The Xbox One has entered full production, according to a new statement from Microsoft and, what's more, the CPU of the next-gen console has been overclocked, running at 1.75 GHz instead of the old 1.6 GHz.

The Xbox One is eagerly awaited by quite a few Microsoft fans, especially since Microsoft eliminated many of its restrictive policies for the new console.

Now, the company's Chief Marketing Officer for the Xbox One, Yusef Mehdi, confirmed at the Citi Global Technology Conference, via Geekwire, that the new console was in full production.

What's more, after a surprise increase in the speed of the GPU, Mehdi also confirmed that the CPU had also been overclocked from 1.6 GHz to 1.75 GHz.

As of yet, Sony hasn't confirmed at what frequency its PlayStation 4 will run.
