Motorola and Nextel launched the i867 PTT phone in Brazil back in March. It appears that phone had some success both companies decided to release a new color version for the this Android smartphones.

Dubbed Motorola i867w, the white-themed variant of i867 is now available for purchase for a suggested retail price of R$ 899 (495 USD or 375 EUR).

Those who don't mind being tied by long term contract can get the smartphone for only R$ 499 (275 USD or 210 EUR) with a data plan via Nextel.

Motorola i867w combines PTT (Push-to-Talk) capabilities with the powerful features offered by Google's Android operating system.

Aside from these advantages, the Motorola i867w comes pre-loaded with Nextel Email application, enabling access to email accounts and messaging in real time.

According to Nextel, the application allows users to check up to ten personal email accounts and one corporate account with calendar.

In addition, the smartphone comes with SWYPE, which makes it easier for users to text. The phone has two microphones with noise cancellation technology making all conversations clearer in noisy environments.

The i867w features Wi-Fi support and sports a 3.1-inch capacitive touchscreen dsiplay. There's also a 3-megapixel camera on the back, as well as microSD card slot for memory expansion (up to 32GB, 2GB memory card). MP3 Player, Bluetooth stereo technology, 3.5 mm headphone jack and are included as well.

Last but not least, the smartphone provides access to more than 500,000 applications and game via Google Play store, formerly known as Android Market.
