Oracle announced that VirtualBox, a family of powerful x86 virtualization products for enterprises and end users, has just reached version 4.1.8.
Oracle implemented a lot of changes, and VirtualBox 4.1.8 is the proof that they are working hard to improve it. Here are some of the features of VirtualBox 4.1.8:
· A wrong return code after startvm has been fixed; · OS/2 boot hang when using recent USB drivers has been repaired; · The maximum number of parallel connections making connections with port forwarding has been increased; · A problem with invalid access in guest metrics collection upon VM destruction has been fixed; · A crash produced under rare circumstances related to VboxSVC was repaired; · Fullscreen mode issues for ATI graphics was fixed; · Fixes for Linux kernel 2.6.41 and Linux kernel 3.2 on Fedora OSes.
