Although AT&T is the carrier that announced the latest Windows Phone device, it appears that Verizon Wireless continues to support Microsoft mobile platform by delivering updates for its devices.

The latest on the list of smartphone readied for a maintenance update is the HTC Trophy. The carrier already published the change log for this minor update on its support site.

According to this change log, the update contains a different radio and one important enhancement: improved data connectivity in certain scenarios when Connection Setup application is installed.

The new software update build number 2305.13.20110.605 will replace the current radio of the HTC Trophy with a new one (1.53.00.12.01_23.17w.05.13U).

There’s no telling exactly when the carrier starts the rolling-out process for this update, but it shouldn’t take Verizon more than a few days to go public with this one.
