Verizon Wireless is yet another US wireless operator to recommend a series of applications for this year's Valentine's Day. According to the mobile phone carrier, users can enjoy a nice range of software solutions on their handsets on Sunday, so that they can be close to that special someone. The list includes various applications, ranging from those who can tell you what sign to look for to those enabling users to share their feelings with the loved person.

According to Verizon, those interested in finding their love, can try out one of the following apps: - AstroLove 2, to discover your general traits and romantic sides as only the stars can tell, then let the Star Match feature give insight on your relationship or use the Sign Chart guide if you’ve ever wondered if those around you are right for you. - Spanish Valentine Flirt Dict and French Valentine Flirt Dict teach you a rich vocabulary of flirtatious and amorous words to delight your loved one’s ears. - Crush or Flush – Chat Date Flirt turns the process of meeting new people into a game. Browse real picture profiles, “Crush” the ones you like and “Flush” the ones you don’t. When there is a mutual “Crush,” you can chat one on one.

Other software solutions can also prove great options for users, including Hallmark Mobile Greetings, where one can find more than 550 animated greetings to send away, or Nicky Greetings Valentine to add romance to Valentine’s Day cards. Not to mention that users can choose Flirt SMS to send cute and clever messages all day long on February 14. For those who want to put the strength of love to the test, Verizon recommends some solutions too, including the AMA Love Test, which will get one "through the most romantic places in the world," or the Love Calculator, an app to test the compatibility of two people.

According to the mobile phone carrier, those interested in trying out these applications for this year's Valentine's Day will find them available in the Health and Wellness category in the Media Center/Get It Now on Verizon Wireless feature phones. Users of a Motorola DROID or HTC DROID ERIS device can access them via the Android market, and they are also available for BlackBerry smartphones via the BlackBerry App World.
