It's unclear how the Flappy Bird phenomenon actually happened, but it's now also available for Ubuntu Touch.

Even though it's called Flappy Bird and looks almost identical with the version from Android or iOS, this is not the original release.

A developer named Victor Thompson decided to make a very accurate web app based on the application hosted on flappybird.io. It's very close to the original and it seems to work just fine.

Ubuntu Touch hasn't been adopted by a specific hardware maker or by any carrier, but it's interestingly to see how fast someone decided to port an app. On other platforms it might take a lot longer, but the Ubuntu development community is very diverse and someone is bound to act.

In any case, its unsure for how long you will be able to download and play the game, so make the most of it.
