Naughty Bear enters at number five

Red Dead Redemption has finally lost the first place in the all format UK sales chart, Lego Harry Potter's spells proving to be more powerful than Marston's old guns. Still, it has been a great run for the former, being the most successful release of the year until now, freeing Take-Two Interactive of its Grand Theft Auto complex.

Super Mario Galaxy 2 and 2010 FIFA World Cup South Africa go down one place too behind Rockstar's smash hit to three and four, respectively. Ubisoft's highly successful Just Dance has gone down three places to number 7. Modern Warfare 2 has also fallen four places to number ten, behind its biggest competitor, Battlefield: Bad Company 2, which has gone up two places to number nine.

There were four important new entries last week in the charts: Lego Harry Potter: Years 1-4, Naughty Bear, Demon's Souls: Black Phantom Edition and Transfomers: War for Cybertron. They all made it to the top ten with Lego Harry Potter landing at number one, Naughty Bear at number five, the European version of Demon's Souls at six and this new installment in the Transformers series at eight.

The most spectacular downfall of last week, maybe due to the many big titles that have been released, is the Nintendo Wii and Nintendo DS puzzler Rooms: The Main Building that went down no less than 14 places to number 19. Wii Fit Plus is also in decline after its huge success, climbing down from the top ten to number 14. The most important new releases of next week may come too late to rattle up the charts, as All Points Bulletin, Dragon Ball Origins, Pro Cycling Manager 2010 and Tiger Woods PGA Tour 11 will all launch simultaneously on Friday, July 2.
