Not long after the Z75 and Z77 Series boards got a new BIOS, the time has come for Intel’s P67 and Z68 family of motherboards to get one. The R22 version is compatible, just like the previous R21 version, with all of Microsoft’s Windows OSes, both bit versions, and it brings a bunch of fixes.

There are 6 motherboards suitable with this package, namely EVGA’s Z68 FTW, Z68 SLI, and Z68 SLI Micro, as well as P67 FTW, P67 SLI, and P67 SLI Micro Motherboards.

When it comes to changes, the Intel Z68 family has only two improvements made for the BClock overclocking and for the 2400 MHz memory support, while the P67 family has much more than that.

The CPU’s Core ratio, as well as multiplier control with Sandy Bridge (when changing from E-LEET to manual) and with 2500K (when multiplier is set above 43) errors have been fixed.

Moreover, BClock‘s issues with frequency settings disappearing, booting without a bootable device, or with simply adjusting it have also been repaired. In addition, the system is now able to boot with OC Mode turned on, and BSOD no longer occurs when changing BIOS settings to default.

And to put an end to the list, USB port 6/7 labeling and USB 3.0 issues are fixed, e-SATA is added to onboard devices, VCCIO and VSA now have 1250 mV (when memory is above 2400 MHz), and last but not least, the PCIe compatibility is improved.

That said, follow the link below and choose the one targeted at your motherboard.
