Using the recently introduced Street View function

The recently-introduced Google Maps function, codenamed Street View, is much more than a simple feature of a Google product. After a few days of using it, I must admit that it is extremely useful as it is able to provide highly-detailed pictures with certain locations right from the street. Obviously, the streets are full of people doing various activities, so the pictures captured by the GoogleMobile are very interesting. The guys from Wired created an interesting poll to vote for the "Best Urban Images Captured by New Google Maps Tool". As we expected, the resulting images are at least funny as they show people without any idea that they are actually filmed.

"Google's new Street View, a new Google Maps feature that uses vehicle-cameras to take 360-degree street level views of major urban areas, captured all sorts of urban emphemera in the process from tabbies in windows to red light runners. Help Wired News capture the best inadvertant urban snapshots. Submit and vote on your favorite urban scenes -- be they citizens flaunting the laws or hot dog vendors rocking a sweet style," Wired said about the poll.

As you can see in the first picture attached to the article, some of the citizens were in a hurry and forgot to piddle. Probably too much soda? Or maybe you prefer picture number two that shows two ladies on a "beach" enjoying the summer. Picture number three is also a candidate for the big prize as it shows... you say it!

As I mentioned earlier today, the pictures were captured by a special Google car, a Volkswagen Beetle, equipped with special cameras that were taking photos from several cities. Obviously, several citizens appeared in the pictures so I'm really curios what happens if one of them informs Google that he wants to be removed from the photo.
