The online action game will be the same on both next-gen consoles

The Division, the upcoming online action game from Ubisoft for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One next-gen consoles, won't have unique content on the two platforms as the developers want to make sure the experience is great across both devices.

The Division was one of the most impressive games revealed at E3 2013 earlier this summer and Ubisoft has begun hyping up the online game.

According to Game Director Ryan Bernard, the team doesn't want unique gameplay features or advantages for one of the two platforms.

"Currently, right now, because we're releasing for both platforms, we want the best game experience for both. We're not planning specific content or specific unique, I guess, elements for either platform," Bernard told OXM.

The Director doesn't exclude that potential features may appear until the game ships but, as of yet, Ubisoft wants to keep things on a leveled playing field.
