Three days after its release in the Google Play store, Imangi Studios’ “Temple Run” for Android exceeded 1 million downloads milestone.

This is probably the main reason why the developers plan to improve users’ gameplay experience by adding new stuff for the game.

In an interview for PocketGamer, developer Imangi Studios confirmed it was working on adding more objectives, characters and power-ups. There’s also an update for the new iPad that is meant to take advantage of the high-resolution Retina display.

In addition, based on players’ feedback, developers are looking for a way to add new environments, which seems to be more complicated than expected.

This is why Imangi Studios is thinking to “make them [environments] work organically with the game and not look like something tacked on.” Stay tuned for more updates on the matter.
