Imangi Studios, the team behind the highly-acclaimed Temple Run title for mobile platform, released the Android version of the game on March 27.

Three days after its release in the Google Play store, the game exceeded the 1 million downloads milestone. Although we kind of expected this to happen, given the game’s popularity on iOS platform, the achievement is still impressive.

There’s more to it, as “Temple Run” for Android has been rated by more than 47,000 users and has a 4.3 out of 5 score. Obviously, this could change in the following weeks, but the high number of downloads prove that this game is a must for Android users.

In other news, developers confirmed that “Temple Run” is fully supported on 707 Android devices, and still 99.9% of people complaining about the game say their device is not compatible.

“Temple Run” for Android is now available as a free download via Google Play.
