Wireless services provider T-Mobile has officially confirmed plans to make the Nokia Lumia 925 smartphone available for its users starting with July 17, with a price tag of $49 (€37.5) attached to it, with the signing of a two-year contract agreement.

Users willing to purchase the device will also commit to 24 equal monthly payments of $20 for the device, which brings the phone’s total cost up to $529 (€405).

The handset arrives in the United States exclusively on the network of Magenta, set to deliver appealing features and capabilities to its uses, worthy of a flagship Windows Phone 8 smartphone.

“T-Mobile is excited to continue building on our partnership with Nokia and Microsoft by bringing customers another exclusive device – T-Mobile's flagship Nokia Lumia 925,” T-Mobile said in a statement in May, when announcing plans to launch the device.

“T-Mobile's first LTE Windows Phone 8 device introduces a thin, lightweight metal design and features a large 4.5" PureMotion HD+ display with the latest Pureview Camera innovation with an advanced 8.7MP camera.”

The smartphone will also feature support for the wireless carrier’s 4G LTE network, while providing users with access to Nokia’s full range of HERE Location and Mapping Services, as well as to Nokia Music.

The specifications list of the device includes a 4.5-inch PureMotion HD+ touchscreen, a 1.5GHz dual-core processor, 1GB of RAM, and 16 GB of internal memory (complemented by 7GB of free SkyDrive storage).

On the back, the new handset sports an 8.7-inch PureView photo snapper, with full HD video recording and Optical Image Stabilization, paired with a front camera for making video calls.

Furthermore, Nokia packed the Lumia 925 with Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, NFC, GPS receiver, and the usual set of sensors on the front, as well as with a 2000mAh BL-4YW battery and with various exclusive applications and features.
