SugarSync developer, recently announced their brand new SugarSync application for Symbian. This seems to be one of the first all-in-one sync, backup and sharing services for Symbian OS users

More importantly the application is free and finally brings Symbian enthusiasts the cloud feature, which is already enjoyed by other mobile OS users.

The clouding service enables users to easily access, manage, and share all their personal content at anytime, from anywhere.

“Our goal at SugarSync is to provide every consumer instant access to all their files—be it documents, photos, music, video or other valued content—regardless of their operating system or handset preference,” said Laura Yecies, CEO of SugarSync.

“No other cloud company offers such a broad range of mobile applications for consumers. We're working hard and fast to build an all-inclusive ecosystem to ensure our customers can choose to work from virtually any location, on any device,” continued Yecies.

Obviously, SugarSync for Symbian features the ability to remotely access, open and easily share files via your mobile phone, including documents, photos and more stored in a SugarSync account.

Further, users can also edit files and sync them back, with the help of a document editor.

The free SugarSync for Symbian application can be downloaded directly on the phone on the developer's website.

The application supports Symbian S60 5th Edition, and offers a free 2 GB version of the full service, with 30 GB plans starting from $4.99/month.

In addition to the new application, SugarSync has also announced a simplified web user interface that makes it easier to access, manage, share and sync files.

The new design of the “My SugarSync” website allows for quick access to a wide range of features, including: the ability to share a folder; send a file; create a public link; upload and view pictures, as well as to stream music files from SugarSync.
