14 DAY TRIAL // God of War: Ascension is out today around the world and developer Sony Santa Monica has just confirmed that the game will be supported with substantial DLC after its launch, including new armor and weapons, plus fresh stages.
God of War: Ascension delivers not just a new single-player story starring Kratos, the protagonist of the series, but it also brings an all-new multiplayer mode, which is a first for the franchise.
Now, ahead of the game's launch today, March 12, Sony Santa Monica has confirmed on the PS blog that Ascension will be on the receiving end of some substantial DLC packs.
These add-ons are set to include new armor and weapons for the warriors, fresh stages to battle in, and much more.
Those who got the God of War: Ascension Collector's Edition or Special Edition will receive all this DLC for free, as these versions include a Season Pass that won't be made available elsewhere.
