Capcom has confirmed that Xbox 360 hackers who are using their modified consoles to play Street Fighter X Tekken, alongside the DLC that hasn’t been officially released, will be banned in cooperation with Microsoft.

Street Fighter X Tekken has impressed lots of fighting game fans from all over the world on the PS3 and Xbox 360 platforms.

Sadly, it seems that gamers who’ve hacked their Xbox 360 consoles have already equipped a leaked version of the DLC for the game and are using the new fighters against those who play without the DLC.

Capcom has now confirmed that these cheaters will be punished, as the company is already working with Microsoft to track them down and ban both their consoles and their accounts.

The actual DLC for the game will be released later this year so, until then, anyone using new characters will no doubt be running a hacked Xbox 360 console and will be punished.
